Sun River in St George UT | Real Estate Market Update December 2014

The Sun River St George 55+ community real estate market remained strong during the month of December 2014 and I predict it will continue through the winter.  Available inventory was up slightly and sales prices increased slightly over last year this time.  Sales prices increased 1.49% over last years figures in December, and the number of sales remained steady.  There were only 6 homes priced under $200,000 for sale.  There were 62 homes for sale in SunRiver  December 2014.  Check out the latest statistics below~

SunRiver St George

There were 22 homes sold in SunRiver during December 2014-

2 homes sold for between $150,000-$200,000
2 homes sold for between $200,000-$250,000
2 homes sold for between $250,000-$300,000
8 homes sold for between $300,000- $400,000
4 homes sold for between $400,000-$500,000
2 homes sold for between $500,000-$600,000
2 homes sold for between $600,000-$700,000

For a year over year comparison-

Average Sales Price in December 2013 was $370,287-in December 2014 it was $375,798. Sales prices increased 1.49% year over year in December. 

Given the volume of sales, there is a 4.16 month supply of SunRiver homes for sale which is up slightly from last year at this time when there was approximately 4.02  months supply of SunRiver homes for sale.

During the month of December 2014, homes in SunRiver sold for 98% of their original listed price!

There were 62 homes for sale in December 2014 which is 3 more than the previous year in 2013. 

Prices are great, although they look to be rising and inventory of homes for sale in SunRiver is slightly higher so there’s a few more homes currently to choose from!

Interest rates are at historic lows which makes this a wonderful time to purchase a home in SunRiver St George!  It looks like the St George Utah 55+ Communities market is bouncing back and prices are starting to rise.

You’d better hurry if you want take advantage of the great opportunities currently available in SunRiver!  According to the developer, building costs are on the rise, so now could be the perfect time to buy
